I’ve been experiencing a significant shift in my self-confidence lately, and it’s all thanks to my dedication to creating new beliefs and releasing old ones. Over the past five years, I’ve spent much of my downtime studying philosophy and metaphysics. These fields are broad, but what fascinates me is how they break down different inner thought processes and how those thoughts manifest into our physical realities.
Through this exploration, I’ve come to realize that many of our deepest issues stem from the quality of our thoughts and beliefs—especially those shaped by society, media, and our families. When was the last time you stopped to consider that what you believe about yourself might be the reason you aren’t seeing the results you want? Perhaps your thoughts of "not being good enough" are why you continue to feel that way.
I’m sharing this because while it’s not easy, it is possible to reprogram your subconscious beliefs and evolve into your higher self. This process requires commitment to practices like meditation, affirmations, and building new self-concepts. And let me be clear—it’s not about rejecting where you are now. It’s about accepting and loving yourself as you are, while still holding space for your desire to grow.
That’s evolution, baby. I’ve spent a lot of time looking back, reflecting, and dwelling on my past, but there comes a moment when you need to move forward. That’s where I’m at now. I’m ready to evolve, and I’m excited to connect with others who are on the same path.
Here are some thoughts I’ve shared on Twitter (X) over the past month. I’ve noticed many of my tweets going viral lately (which is pretty cool), and that gave me the push to start sharing them here as well.
My Inner Reflections:
“You only receive what you believe is possible. Release your limitations.”
“Be open to new outcomes happening for you.”
“Forgive yourself for not knowing what you were never taught but accept that it is your responsibility to learn better.”
“Whatever you are telling yourself daily is running the show.”
“Be unwavering in your faith.”
“You are who you “believe” that you are.”
“God is within you not somewhere outside of you.”
“You are only as big as you allow yourself to be.”
A Read To Shift Your Beliefs:
I highly recommend the book The Game of Life & How to Play It by Florence Scovel Shinn if you’re looking for a framework to reprogram your subconscious beliefs. One thing I love about it is the inclusion of biblical references. While I’m not particularly religious and have my own interpretations of what God means to me, I still enjoy reading the Bible and reflecting on its deeper meanings. This book is such a gem—it’s one I return to again and again. You can listen to the audiobook for free on YouTube, and it’s really soothing and relaxing to listen to.
Ending Thoughts:
If you’re reading this, take it as your sign to get creative with your thoughts. Tend to the garden of your mind, and pull out any weeds that don’t belong there. Your mind is one of your most powerful tools, and once you become aware of that, everything begins to shift. Picture your life as a movie playing out on a screen—you’re the director, and you have the ability to change the scene, characters, and storyline at any time. If you don’t like the show, change the channel. You have the permission and the power to do so. Let me know in the comments, if this entry resonates with you and you’re interested in more of my thoughts about spirituality, metaphysics, and philosphy.
With love,
